At the tender age of 8 years old, my family left me at the East Valley Animal Shelter. I don't know why I ended up there. I was really depressed.
Then one day, a very nice lady brought me down to the ABC7 television studio where my friend Garth Kemp featured me as the Pet of the Day. He held me in his arms and said I was best dog ever. I made a point of looking right into the camera when he said that.
Mary happened to be watching that morning. She's a bit of a pushover so that was all I needed to do. Mary came to the shelter and brought me home. I walked into the living room and found my couch. Then I found my bed. Then I made a few nests for myself around the house. I smile at everyone and make friends quite easily. I also love to get my picture taken. And at the end of the day, I turn into a 42 pound lap dog.
Since Mary has to work during the day, she called Big Sky Dogs to come and take me for my daily pit stop walk. I love my walks. I get undivided love and attention. And I know Mary feels much better knowing that I'm in such good hands when she's gone.
